You are right blur! Do your job on all ends.
A honest mistake is just that. Fraud doing something you knew was wrong. You can go to jail for that. And in the case of fruad there is NO LIMIT to how far they can go back. So you can forget the 7 year rule people think they are sheltered by. Burden of proof always falls on you in this case.
Be honest and you shouldn't have to worry about it.
