Guess I should have said to place it before the crossing. It's been at least 15 years since I've run any. I have other people that build the plant. I just coordinate between the people that build it, the people that want it and everyone in between. Then I make sure it's built to spec's, is terminated correctly, meets operational spec's, place the 24/7/365 monitoring OTDR on it, get the path entered into the mapping program that works with the full time OTDR and get it fixed if it ever gets cut.
