Short version is that Spectrum is building HFC networks across the entire state. They are required to build the small rural towns that were never built. This can either be plant extensions or brand new strand, fiber and coax (HFC). I do not have the specifics but at the end of the project, every home in NYS will have access to cable and internet. This may take years to complete.
