Keep in mind on AT&T LightGig projects such as here in the St. Louis area and I am sure others, use Corning's FlexNAP product where the splices from the design are intalled and on the reels of fiber shipped. Here locally, the contractor hangs and FlexNAP and AT&T does some of the splicng from like laterals to the FlexNap cable in house...
