First reel I ever talked my way into getting was 44,000' of 60 count fiber back in the early 1990's. I didnt have enough roller, help or knowledge but I had a buddy that had been doing it for a few months and I picked his brain every night the entire time i was doing it. Man what a learning curve and i still don't know if I have caught up on sleep from it yet!...LOL Typical Cable Lineman, BS your way into a job and hang on until you get it right! Biggest count I have ever placed is 864 count. Placed a lot of 17,000' reels of it for a while!
