Just some humor, but my Dad who was an outside plant engineer for IL. Bell probably back in 1977 or so as I was a warehouseman for Anaconda Electronics, said at the supper table that he was intervieing for new engineers, and they really liked this one guy but he had IRD's in his ears so we had to pass on him.......So I had to ask what the heck is an IRD, and he said " Income Reduction Devices....
