I hope you well in your desire to come into the industry. Mac hit it on the head though. It can be very challenging to say the least. But I understand wanting to follow your fathers path. Things were much diffent in Our world that being the old hooks that have gone to the house. My son followed me into the trade.
I thought I had taught him everything I could have. Sadly I lost him a year ago this month. He was building strand and pruning and came in contact with power which resulted in his death.
So go into the trade with your eyes wide open! Never compromise your safety, and never allow another to compromise your safety!
