You're probably better off upgrading to the 7x11 vise system.  The 7x11 vise is much easier to use.  Not to mention, you may have to wait a month or so to get the parts.  My guess is they will have to come from the factory, which can take some time.  If you already have the parts though, it's really not that hard if you're somewhat mechanically inclined.
