Re: Make ready


From what I remember, "Make Ready" is walking out or surveying a proposed new aerial cable route to see if there is sufficient mounting space on the poles, ground clearances for street crossings,freeway crossings, and RR crossings, to be able to add the new cable and not violate minimum clearances from existing power attachments, other communications wires, and maintain minimum ground clearances. Any violations found would have to be corrected before you could run the new cable.
