Is it like this everywhere now?

I had been out of the business for about 10 years before getting back into it the last few months.   Stayed with the contracting company after a big college rush but it just gets worse every day.  Very little work and the work we're getting really isn't worth doing.  300 foot 11 arial drops threw damn near forests, 2 jump poles, that pay $12, hour long attic work on 10 point jobs.    Things were great during the rush but I've had one day this week over 100 points, one day was a 10 hour day and billed out 46 points.     I've always understood you take the good with the bad, but I'm having trouble finding much good.  The cable provider is currently offering Amnesty, and same day triple play installs.   This is leading to constant re routing, not having the right equipment on you, and all routing being thrown out the window.

I sure miss the days of picking up a stack of paper work orders for all I could handle and turning them in at the end of the day.
