Google is just like what AT&T was years ago when they bought out TCI, they thought they wanted to be in the cable tv business..it didn't take long, they dumped the projects.
Also I was involved in the build around Columbus Ohio for AmeriTech...they also took a hit and got out..selling to WOW who now still operate there.
These big Companies just don't understand what or how to manage a cable system, everything to them is overblown, hell Ameritech had 3 spec books to build by, material was issued on skids and packing list was by bar codes. KISS...keep it simple.....Stupid !
lessons to be learned from us cable dawg's who been there and done it for years.
