Then the reverse must apply.......IF you sit in your room until the bar opens every day you are free to go home broke. OR if you bust ass everyday & are self employed you are free to pay yourself more........by all means pay yourself overtime.
I don't think the new rulw is addressed to a world where everybody is a contractor. I think it is a shot at retail places where you get a job title, a set of keys and have to lead sales meetings........but get paid as a grunt. Everybody is an executive in this setting and gets a salary regardless of time spent.
At least they are trying to trim the BS,
