Have to read the line item description, some do and some don't.  Also ribbon is mostly used in a backbone type build and you would have to test after the link is complete.  So that more than likely means testing thru multiple splice points, so if you have to eat testing you have made enough to pay your techs to go out and test.  One other thing to look for is if the customer wants the splice loss estimate off of the fusion machine.  Some do, some don't and most don't even know if they do or don't.  Hope this helps.
