Today Klas 8 caved in and retracted their blackout in the Las Vegas market. Their strong arm tactic of blacking out Superbowl 50 here in Las Vegas backfired on them self.
70% of their local revenue come from local advertisers here in Sin City and with the blackout of KLAS8 that started 1/28/16 ALL of the Advertisers placed Ad cancellations orders to KLAS and threatened to go to Fox or NBC affiliates. Well today at 2:30pm KLAS turned the cable feed back on at the same rate Cox was paying per household as the last contract. Fuck the corporate greed.
