My bad. I used hooks on poles, not ladders. That being said, I have to agree with the reply referring to the individual being clumsy. The fella had already been in the area when setting up the ladder and had to have made sure the ground he was setting up on was level. This usually involves taking a foot and clearing out the area or at least stomping the grass down. Sad the fella got hurt, but seems to me it could have been avoided.
