The contract covering District 1 does not expire until August of this year. Until that contract expires, there will not be a strike. District 2-13 is covered by the same contract. Verizon West had a four year agreemnet ratified in November of 2013.
Verizon west, Verizon Texas, and Verizon Florida have been sold to Frontier, but it has not been approved yet, and pending that will not be finalized until the first of 2016. All contracts have successorship clauses, so they will have to be honored by Frontier. If Texas and Florida ratified the same contract as California, those will not expire until 2017.
