I have a 2001 Ford Van Bucket with an Altec boom, I seem to have a DC Vampire killing my battery, My mechanic traced it to the box that runs the controls for the boom etc. behind the driver seat. When he disc the hot lead to it , it goes away. He has no way of trouble shooting with out a schematic, and I don't have one.This has various relays in it etc. you can't disc it because it kills the fuel pump. Thats because you start and stop the truck from the boom. It could be a short ,bad switch etc. The funny thing is, is the truck is just sitting , I rarely use it , and it started doing this after I replaced the alternator. any help would be appreciated .
