And yet you still have "techs" on the cable bar that continually ask , Why can't we be 1099 any more. I can't speak for the company in question about their ethics or atmospere, but all it takes is for 1 unhappy "tech" to cause a lawsuit like this. Thats all 1, then regardless of the outcome the company is forced to spend $$$$$ on a defense attorney. There goes the raises for the real techs. Whatever happened to either do your job or quit? Now it's more like don't like your job, sue.
