Any body on this string remember AB Chance's Can lasher ? It held a single roll of lashing wire and had no moving parts. I was great for lashing through trees, only problem was if you ran out lashing wire before you got to a dead end pole you had to cut the strand to get it off or reload it. That being said I saw 2 sometimes 3 welded together. I was only good for single cables up to .500. I started with Ameco in 1963 and still in the bizz today although I have not climbed a pole in the past 35 years
