  You may find this interesting, and it might answer your question. I have been doing a little research on why liberals act the way they do. Why do they always change the subject, shift the blame, and out and out lie. These are defense mechanisms that start at a very early age. As a person matures these defenses become more sophisticated and refined. Liberals on the other hand have aged chronologically and may even function as an adult in most aspects of their lives but show supprisingly child-like behaivior when coping with stress. A liberal will never admit to any wrong, instead they will use the tactics that worked for them as a child. This is considered to be a personallity disorder that stems from parents or parent letting their kids get away with everything. These defense mechanisms then get imprinted in the childs personality and they tend to look at the world in an infant-centric (it's all about me) way when they get older. That's why talking to a liberal is like talking to a 5 yr. old brat.
