Hiding Company Names or Who they are

Why are these people hiding their company name in Classifieds? Now the admin is allowing a Instant Messenger style response so that even paying Members can't see who is posting the Ads. My advice would be to not even respond to these people. If they are so shady that they won't tell you who they are, Its because they have screwed other hard working people and they will do it again. I understand mistakes and bad business decisions. Hell, I went bankrupt with my own company and a couple of really good subs didn't get paid. But these guys on some of the fiber projects have no intention of paying you and they will screw anyone they can. If you are planing on going to one of these fiber projects, my advice would be once you find out exactly who you are dealing with post a message asking about them or at least PM some other members here and check them out.
