I got audited once......... Still paying! I do know that you haver to pay. You can't be a contractor and think that writing off everything will never raise a red flag with the IRS. They never tell you what the flags are, but I can probably say that filing a 1040 and schedule C over aperiod of time and trying to balance at 0 will get you flagged. I was always told by my tax guy......NEVER CLAIM 0! You always want to pay at least a little. Keeps the IRS off the flag list.
