Re: Nothing exciting about the storm work

There's no word on Primes yet and the pay is still up in the air. We have been on 4 hurricane restorals. We are Telephone restoral with ALL the same issues. Prime's make a killing and we do all the dirty and dangerous work. We have no work down here in the South East. We have learned what we will need to survive. We are self sufficent but getting that far is going to be a bear. The work has always been hard and the pay weak. Why anyone would go into this industry and stay in it for 25 yrs. is beyond me..yet we've done it!! The East coast is going to be worse than any other place. We are currently looking for a campground to put up a wall tent. Crossing fingers!
