had problem similar to this, found that the drops in the area were all picking it up and it feeding it back into the feeder.
Go tap to tap, checking the drops for FM band carriers ingressing onto the drops. Fix whatever is allowing it in.
Found alot of direct pickup problems from cable-ready TVs and VCRs. Sometimes the only fix was to either put settops on offending outlets, or use a house amp to block the signal from travelling back up the drop to the tap.
