Teddy, sure it is a great idea to paint it white to reflect the radiant heat somewhat, but what it will cause is, the added coat of paint will also be an insulator, keeping the heat trapped inside and won't allow the electronics latent heat to dissipate, that is why nodes and actives have the fins on them to act as a radiator.

You can have a brand new radiator in a car painted flat black and it will cool fine, but color powder coat it to match the rest of the paint scheme it will overheat.

Just the laws of thermal transfer
