As for here in Texas all of the VOIP is going back to cable. The cable companies are all doing the triple play installs with the VOIP and they are only paying $5 to $10 for a VOIP install on a good note there is other work during those installs that makes the pay decent enough to keep people around and they are giving us 10 to 15 installs a day usually around $300 a day worth of work so it isnt all bad not to mention the cost of living in Texas is pretty cheap so overall not horrible.
I have not seen any PBX work in a few years.
