Yeah,
That is a concern. OTA stuff is highly directional anyway. The parabolic dish antenna could function either gather and direct a weak signal to an LNB for reprocessing or receive many UHF / VHF signals from near and distand sources........I think 80 miles is about it......you shoot over the horizon at some point.
They report great success in FL where there are many OTA & FTA stations. Much of this is much above my pay grade so all input is welcome.
