DO NOT.........rely on preprinted forms...........every word has meaning for lawyers and you will eat them................Start with a letter proposing your project without any costs mentioned..............Describe materials and a completion schedule. Only after both sides have agreed on what is to happen you compose a request for bids....showing exactly what is wanted. As a generalization whoever write the contract looses if there is a dispute. The other side is free to interpret what is written if the meaning is not agreed upon........Joe
