Goodsky, I have had 3 businesses in the cable industry . 1 corporation, 1 LLC, and a sole proprietor. So I think I know the difference, do you.? And a corporation and 1099 are not two different types of companies. A 1099 is a wage/income verification form filed with the treasury dept. you can be sent one as a corp, a sole proprietor or as contracted labor. So a corporation can receive a 1099,
