I HAVENT HEARD OF ANY VIRTUAL MSO OUT THERE, HAS ANYONE?  SURE UR NETFLIX HULO AND YOU CAN GO TO THE DOTCOM OF THE CHANNEL YOU WANT TO WATCH.  THERE WAS SOME GUY ON THIS SITE THAT WAS SELLING A NEW TYPE OF BOX THAT WAS GOING TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH AN IPTV THAT ANYONE COULD USE IT ANYWHERE IN AMERICA BUT I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN IT WOULD BE LAUNCHING SOMETIME SOON.  IF ANYONE HAS SOME INFO ON THIS THAT WOULD BE COOL BECAUSE THIS WOULD REALLY REQUIRE SALESMANSHIP FOR THE CABLECOMPANY TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS.  CONTRACTORS WILL ALWAYS BE NEEDED IN THE CABLE TELECOM INDUSTRY BECAUSE THEY ARE ALOT CHEAPER THAN TRADITIONAL EMPLOYEES BUT MAN ITS GETTING SO CUT THROAT OUT THERE. EVERY JOB YOU CALL ABOUT HAS CHARGEBACK GOING FROM 4 TO 6 MONTHS NOW FOR CABLE OR I HEARD SATELLITE COULD BE UP TO A YEAR.  THE NUMBER OF MONTHS KEEPS INCREASING AND OFCOURSE PAY GENERALLY DECREASES.  EVEN A YEAR AGO YOU COULD SEE SINGLES FOR 80. DIGITAL TIER non winback.    NOW WITH A WINBACK YOU WOULD BE LUCKY TO GET TO THAT COMMISION.  AND I DON'T CARE HOW GOOD YOU ARE YOUR NOT GOING TO KNOCK AND GET 5 DISHWINBACKS A DAY EVERYDAY, ASSUMING YOUR IN A TYPICAL MARKET.  BUT THE TRICKS USED TO KEEP CONTRACTING CHEAP ARE RIDCULOUS. NON PAYMENT.  HOW MANY TIMES DOES THIS HAPPEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN.  TAKE YOUR TIME. ON JOB AND SUBTRACT THE LAST CHECKS YOU DON'T GET PAID ON YOUR HOLD YOU WILL MORE THAN LIKELY NEVER SEE AND YOU SEE MAN I ACTUALLY MAKE AROUND 20 PER UNIT.  CSRS MAKE 8 BUCKS AND PRODUCE 5 UNITS AN HOUR EASILY.  SO CABLE COMPANIES REALLY DON'T NEED US FOR A SALES LEVEL PER SAY THEY JUST NEED US TO ALERT PEOPLE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD THERE IS A CABLE COMPANY OUT THERE FOR THEM FOR SERVICE IF THEY NEEDED IT. WERE JUST A WALKING COMMERCIAL AND THIS IS WHY WE GET PAID 15 TO 100 BUCKS AN HOUR.  IF YOU MIRROR YOURSELF TO AN INHOUSE POSITION HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU SEE A BOARD WITH 80 PERCENT OF THE REPS CANT HIT A QUOTA OF LIKE 15 SALES. I MEAN IF YOU DON'T SELL ATLEAST 15 SALES A WEEK YOU PROBABLY WILL NOT HAVE A GREAT PAYCHECK BECAUSE OF COMP PLAN.  SO OBVIOUSLLY WE OUTSELL INHOUSE AND CORPORATE LIKES THAT BUT LOCAL MANAGEMENT GETS RED BECAUSE IT HIGHLIGHTS THERE MAY BE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR COACHING HERE.  THEN WE HAVE TO MOVE TO A NEW CITY AND START THE MAGIC ALL OVER AGAIN.  COME TO THINK ABOUT IT I LIKE THE PREVIOUS POSTERS COMMENTS......
