Re: hiring help as a sub contractor

I once knew a guy that did storm damage, He would go by the Salvation Army Shelter in the morning and give anybody there that wanted to work $25.00 and took them to the cable yard to sign the book so he could collect the $125.00 per day Per-Diem per man and tell then if they are back to the shelter later and meet him to sign out at the cable yard, it was another $25.00 then charge out a 3 man crew @ $175.00 an hour let's see $125.00 x 3 = $375.00 plus $175.00 x 12 = $2100.00 A Day a clear profit of $2325.00 a day and his truck never hit the field, Anybody from SE Florida Knows who I am talking about during Whilma he had 3 or ghost crews doing that, for about 10K a day

He now works for what used to be one of the best Primes in the country and Now I class them along with the rest of the Bottom Feeders out there
