So looks like the steel toe question got a lot of response.
Here is the deal for me.
I have been shopping for a new pairs of climbing boots and this is what i came up with.
Hoffman's $300 (previously owned these and loved them lasted a long time) 12in dual shank
Danners $500 14in
Custom fit Wesco's $560 ( Always wanted a custom fit) 12 inch dual shank
Climbers I use
Buckingham titanium with Cadillac pads so don't think i really need anything over 12in
