No need to be a dick. He obviously is new as I am sure you were at some point. He is a man none the less. One that obviously has the initiative to try to do a job right rather than get a peak hold and bolt. The days of trying to hold yourself godlike are pretty much gone. If you dont want to help a guy who puts himself out there then why not just skip over this post. Not like we are going to think your a genious because you can beat a new maintenance tech up. I will brake it down for you, if you cant say anything decent, just dont say anything at all.
This is the cabl bar, a place where technicians can come to ask for advice and actually get help, not ridiculed.
Tim, ignore the old sweep techs with a chip on there shoulder. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
