Nobody in this forum gets undue "protection", ever. Please stop making accusations which you clearly know nothing about. If someone has a history of generally positive contributions and isn't always playing victim, they will be given the benefit of the doubt every time. There are many, many examples of that for anyone who bothers to look. How many would complain there aren't enough bad things said of companies on here?
So let's say member "Joe" has a history of helping other members and relating positive experiences, and one day posts about not being paid by "Acme Cable". A little while later another member "Sam" who has no positive history writes "don't work for those crooks and thieves at Acme, they'll steal your money." Sam's post obviously isn't going to stay. Now Sam is pissed off because, by golly, he didn't do anything different than Joe so we're obviously out to get him/on the other person's side/are communist nazi pigs against "freedom of speech"/...whatever. From experience I know trying to deal with Sam on a professional level is a waste of time.
Sadly, some people have not learned that if they don't act like a professional, no one will treat them like one. They pretend that nothing is ever their fault, it's "who ya know", etc. If that is you, I'm sorry this is not the right forum. This forum is free to sign up but "freedom of speech" is earned not given.
