If the job/contract only requires the usage of one tank of gas weekly, I'll submit that that's one easy-ass job; either a route comprised of maybe 5 sq miles or a lot of downtime eating doughnuts.
More realistically: 60 gallons @ $4/per, or $240 a week on gas. After adding taxes back in; $15 for cell; $30 for ins; $25 for maintenance = $8.25/hr, and even that doesn't realistically cover all costs associated with maintaining your own vehicle.
On January 1, 2011, the minimum wage in Florida will remain unchanged at the federal rate of $7.25 per hour.
