Thanks for the help Joe. No insult taken, I was asking for another perspective. The one thing that just occurred to me is that it might be a light frequency related issue, I'll check to see if the nodes in question all have the same transmitter.
1. All of the lasers are DFB.
2. The RF inputs are 17, hitting the CMTS with 0 after the splitter behind the receiver.
3. We're running DOCSIS 3, but there are still a lot of DOCSIS 2 modems out there.
