I was working in Texas (Dallas) a couple of years ago and the area VP at the time had a meeting with some company in south Texas and there was talk of a new revolutionary cable/fiber drop that would be good for up to 2 miles with no signal degradation and extremely wide bandwidth.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this??????????? I was just laying around thinking of the old day's and it came to mind so I figured I would ask.
Drops good for 2miles????
