yep, I don't do much catv any more, the $$$ sucks these days. But in the "old days"  lol   we would often take voltage from the foward direction to stretch out the amps from the end of line. So in that case power would be there and no rf from the amp before. anyway I guess I need to look at some of the newer systems. I had a guy tell me his company is going 100% dig and will be using just a fraction of the capable band width. I broke my ass to rebuild that system to 860 and now they are gonna use 1/4 of it. Pisses me off.
