Senator Enzi had it right. The laws are there. It is up to us as the misclassified to go thru due process and fight it if we feel we're being wronged. A big reason for these companies using 1099's is to avoid over taxation in order to make a profit. I get it, I just don't like seeing cable companies constantly raising rates for users and lowering pay for contractors. It's crap and I for one will see them in court.
