I filed in 08 and I owed 1800.  I have no dependants.  In 09 i filed and wrote off more stuff and only paid in 65.

But what Im trying figure out is this.  normal W-2 workers dont get any breaks on dudections so they always pay taxes right?  If i was determined to be an employee I would paid taxes.  As a sub i end up not paying nearly what i would if i was W-2 employee.  So my concern and question is this.  If I file an SS-8 and they determine we are employees what will happen?  Cause we are treated as subs but i am pretty sure the IRS would say we are employees.
