Re: DirecTV Whole-Home DVR Goes Live Nationwide

Nothing new about them expecting you to do more for less.  On the technical end, what does it take for the whole house DVR to work?  Just a phone call to DTV to activate the feature?  Additional hardware?  Also, does the DVR playback in true HD on the other (high def) TVs?  Or is it down-converted to standard def (like dish network DVR tuner 2)???
