Not sure if any areas are doing this yet. I was informed within a couple of years you will not do disconnects anymore. Everything will just be left on. Obviously then you will need a digital box of some sort to recieve any channels though. And yes, like you said, the company will mail the equipment to the customer and only if something goes wrong a Tech will go out there to fix it.  I wonder how the node health will be when drops and outlets are always hooked up even though they dont have service. Like we dont have enough issues with ingress and leakage as is.
