spectrum analyzer will work if you get a manual sign off......The system is designed to go with the dapt ..... you will need to put the firmware on the modem manually there is a download that the modem requires.   I always use spectrum analyzer then I lock down the dish and hook up dapt and have the grunt run the dapt functions while I am finishing inside cabling...analyzer will pick up anything  but they are quite expensive probably not very cost effective if you dont do alot of commercial work
