I haven't read this entire thread so if this question has come up I apologize. Even if a worker is here from another country legally, how extensive is the background investigation. It's quite obvious if they are working illegally a background check was not performed, but even if it were, would it be a US search only? Shouldn't the home country receive a request for info? How many illegals working here are fugitives from their country? How many legal immigrant workers are registered sex offenders at home?
