Was that Cal Water and Tel? If so, my father, Robert Vest, was an engineer with them back in the 60's before going to Pac Bell. In the late 70's early 80's he was the CATV coordinator for Pac Bell out of Riverside. That is how I got into cable. K&B Engineering was my first company and they were all a bunch of ex-Pac Bell engineers. Good 'ol GO95. Only state I EVER had to use guard arms when between 4' & 6' separatiion from power,  or 1/2" strand for a sidewalk guy.
