Jim..I remember your name never met you though..I worked for Ameco in Daly City CA. splicing the discade system Bruce came up with..also a pilot run in SLC back in the 70's..Buddy Strahn, Woody Wooden, Paul Bylbie, Al Thomsen are a few I rmember from that time..went to Grants NM after that as a Super for Ameco..had Burnup for a contractor..Eddie Pena was the owner..had about a 10 mile trunk run that was ladder wire and tube type amps. we wrecked out and replaced with .750 trunk cable...WAF life. It was fun then...Best back then was the free Lophophra williamsii...(Peyote) best known in NM & Ariz....no cost and a constent hi...just wonder around the desert till ya find it..good ole days..The Indians really did have something..
