2000 Chevy Express 3500 Bucket Van for sale. Vehicle has 120,200 Miles. Strong 6.0L engine. Walden/UTEM self Leveling Aerial Lift unit. This van runs strong, has very low miles for year. Transmission is smooth and drives nice. It is currently still in use in the field, Miles will change slightly, Used locally. It is set up for Fiber Splicing (table top, LED lights, Cable door, AC unit, Cable clamp, etc.) This Vehicle is ready to go straight to work. We have done a lot to set this unit up to be efficient in the field. New parts include: New AC compressor, New brake calipers/Pads, New belts, several Hydraulic hoses new. Aerial unit was just reworked at MAP Enterprise in Burlington, NC. With replaced controls and New Umbilical cables from pedestal to Bucket. Over $4,000 in Upgrades. Aerial unit operates smooth and Hydraulics are fully operational.This unit is simple and easy to maintain. Inside is Electrically wired to a Breaker panel with outlets for Splicer/Test Equipment. Or any other accessory. Lights, and Separate circuit for the AC unit. Runs on Honda 2000 EUI generator(not included). You cannot find a bucket Van in this condition Close to this Price. We are listing it at this price to move it to a good home and make room for new units coming in.
Couple of items that need addressed are:
(1)The Radio needs repair or replace( AM works fine FM not so much. I have pulled the dash and unit to inspect and have found nor obvious damage) Likely a new one is in order.
(2) There is a seal on the Upper rear drivers side of gutter rail where the old Aerial unit rack used to be... Does not leak anymore. We since removed and had our welder fabricate the current Unit support. And works better. NO More weight on the roof rack...
(3) typical surface rust underneath. This has been inspected by our mechanic and superficial.
